Chiefs falls to the Vikings - Your thoughts

I am getting bored of writing about Chiefs losses. But they did lose . . .again. They got exactly what they deserved after a terrible first half showing. Had the Vikings been more clinical then this would not have been a contest. The Chiefs are now 1-5 and look a millions miles away from improving on that record.

So what is going wrong? We asked for your opinion on Facebook.

Reid's play calling.... Alex's lack of confidence in calling his own plays and in himself... Reid needs to give play calling to someone else...

Claire Stewart

Alex is scared to throw the ball, or Andy Reid is scared to let him, so he keeps shovelling it sideways or backwards and hoping his backs can make enough yardage for a first down. I don't believe that this is a new thing - I saw it at last year's season opener at Arrowhead. But we got away with it last year because our offensive line was stronger and our defence one of the best and stopped the other team scoring. This season, all the other defensive coaches know what Alex will do and know how to set up their defences to stop us moving the ball. Our defence doesn't look nearly as good as last season. We need to start taking chances.

Honestly this is the worst I have seen us play in a long while. Not sure whether to shoulder more of the blame on the HC or QB, but both have been massively underwhelming so far this season. I honestly think Reid could be gone by the bye week at this rate, this is not a well coached football team right now. Also I'd honestly consider giving Murray a shot at QB and seeing what we have there. This season is lost, so we need to see if he can handle starting at the NFL level.

After the game we asked on Twitter what some of you think will be the Chiefs record come the end of the season. The results are not surprising.

But one of us still has hope . . .

As for Wembley. It looks like a battle for the number one pick as it stands. But we like to stay positive about our team. Here is some real passion from one of our members. This is what Wembley means to us.

Whatever this season brings, I'm just gonna enjoy seeing my beloved Chiefs play, who I've been following in the UK for the last 26 years and never thought I'd ever see the day I'd get to watch them in a regular season game and be with other fans who share the same passion. Let's bring a sea of red and make it the loudest, memorable international game ever. Whoop, whoop.
