About us
We started as a group of 3 Kansas City Chiefs fans from the UK who decided that the best way to grow our fan base over this side of the pond was to create a website as a central hub to engage with other UK and International fans.
The idea came about when Tom created a Twitter account (@KCChiefsUK) aimed at bringing UK fans together. From the first few weeks of being activated, the page had gained over 100 followers and the number is growing all the time. Together with Matt (@mattphillips78) and Mike (@MCGooding) the twitter page grew into this website.
The aim of the site is to bring all fans the very latest news and opinions on the Chiefs from fans far and wide. The website is a way that each and every fan can express their opinions through writing blog posts and contributing to the site in various ways. If anyone is interested in writing for the site then please do not hesitate in getting in touch and we'll set you up right away. In time we hope we can reach a sustainable number of users and that we can start to organise get togethers.
Our ultimate goal is to be able to set up an official link with the Chiefs which may lead to visits to arrowhead as a fan club along with other benefits that come from an actual affiliated fansite. We are also hoping to arrange meet ups at Wembley for the IS games and we can hold our very own awards ceremony at the end of each season awarding player of the year and rookie of the year amongst others.
Arrowheads Abroad are proud to be recognised by the Kansas City Chiefs as their official fan UK club. However, all opinions on this site are those of our members, not of the Kansas City Chiefs.
