What is the best thing about following the Chiefs? Who will be the Chiefs MVP? How many games will the Chiefs win in 2015? Who will win Superbowl 50? Life without the Chiefs would be . . . ?

The writers anwering these questions for us are:

Matt Verderame (Arrowhead Addict)

Sean Keeler (scout.com)

Seth Keysor (Arrowhead Pride)

Adam Teicher (ESPN)

And saving the best 'til last of course. little old me, Tom Childs (Arrowheads Abroad)

Question 1

What is the best thing about following the Chiefs?

MV: You learn what pain is at a young age.

Sean K: Community, brother/sisterhood, and barbecue. Not necessarily in that order. The parking lot at Arrowhead Stadium on game days is like the largest family reunion you've ever attended. Only with better food.

Seth K: The satisfaction of knowing you're not a bandwagoner? Kidding aside, the best part about following the Chiefs right now is getting to watch Justin Houston and Jamaal Charles, two of the very best players in the league and guys who have a shot at the Hall of Fame if injuries are kind to them. They're both so special and fun to watch on the field. A close second for me is the togetherness of Chiefs fans. Though we tear each other apart in comment sections and on Twitter, there's a lot of love in Chiefs kingdom.

AT: The passion that their fans have for the Chiefs is an awesome thing. Being a part of that is terrific.

TC: Supporting a team that hardly anyone else supports. Feel like I am part of a special group of fans. I can guarantee that every Chiefs fan that see's another at Wembley will stop and have a chat with one and another. That just doesn't happen with other teams.

Question 2

Who will be the Chiefs 2015 MVP?

MV: Jamaal Charles, because despite the other weapons on the offense, he makes the offense go. Kansas City will be relying heavily on Charles once again to set up everyone else, and he won't disappoint. I expect another massive campaign from the 28-year-old.

Sean K: Derrick Johnson and Justin Houston (tie). Yeah, yeah, it's a cop-out, but this defense has the pieces, on paper, to be THAT FREAKING GOOD. But Chiefs fans should be rooting for that MVP to be Alex Smith or Jeremy Maclin. Because if those two are great, chances are, this season will be, too.

Seth K: It's always Jamaal Charles until proven otherwise. As I said above, he's special. He's one of the most unique athletes I've seen in any sport. His ability to get it done regardless of what else is happening on the field is genuinely remarkable. Seeing him glide through defenses and twist around would-be tacklers is about as much fun as it gets. The entire offense runs through his unique gifts.

AT: Travis Kelce. The Chiefs have some strong candidates. But if he stays healthy Kelce will put up some big numbers this year.

TC: Jamaal Charles, Jamaal Charles, Jamaal Charles, Jamaal Charles and Jamaal Charles. He is the most important cog in our offense. Without him Andy Reid's offense would not work. I am already dreading the day he loses a step.

Question 3

How many games will the Chiefs win in 2015?

MV: 11. They will also make a deep run in the playoffs.

Sean K: Ten. Although, to be honest, I bounce between 10 and nine, depending on the hour. Mind you, after last fall, just don't ask me which games those will be. Anything out of those first four contests — three of them on the road — is gravy, as the schedule really sets up for a nice closing kick. Potentially. Maybe.

Seth K: I've got them pegged at 10 wins and a playoff appearance. They've got a brutal schedule early, but I think the defense has a shot at being fantastic and the offense (barring that offensive line being truly horrific again) should be good enough to keep from ruining things. That defense, though... it has a wonderful combination of pass rush and talent in the secondary. It's extremely tough for quarterbacks of any type to play well against the Chiefs, and in today's NFL that's a big part of the battle.

AT: I initially thought nine. I’m leaning toward 10 now. But I’m not convinced their offensive line will be much improved or that their passing game will be where it needs to. Also, playing only seven games at Arrowhead Stadium hurts.

TC: Sorry but I am not as hopeful for the coming season. Our schedule is so hard this year. We need to get at at least 4 divisional wins this year to stand a chance. I am saying 8/9. On the plus side I know less than all of these fellas so you're probably already thinking 'who cares what he says'. Can't say I blame you.

Question 4

Who will win Superbowl 50?

MV: Green Bay Packers. They are the most complete team when you factor in both sides of the ball. It seems like the time for Aaron Rodgers to win his second Super Bowl.

Sean K: Colts over the Cowboys. Indy is set up for crazy-good pole position to snatch the No. 1 seed (and home field) in the AFC playoffs, and Andrew Luck — who turns 26 in September — has been steadily elbowing his way into the NFL's penthouse. One of these days, No. 12 is going to kick that door down completely. Why not now?

Seth K: Um... I dunno? I guess if I were to bet on anyone it would be the Seahawks. Brutal defense, efficient quarterback, and now they have Jimmy Graham to help the passing game and get room for Lynch.

AT: Green Bay. That’s as solid a team as there is in the league. The Packers also have one of the NFL’s top quarterbacks.

TC: The Seahawks. They have their 2 final peices of their jigsaw puzzle in Lockett and Graham. Great defense and great running game too. I wonder what their odds are?

Question 5

Life without the Chiefs would be?

MV: Insanely boring and sad.

Sean K: Inconceivable. I mean, more productive on Sundays, but inconceivable. Also, poopy.

Seth K: Much, much, MUCH more productive.

AT: Let’s hope we never have to find out.

TC: Z z z z z
