Where the Chiefs on Madden compared to the rest of the NFL

As you would have all seen, over the last couple of weeks the good guys at EA Sports have been publishing their top 5 players for each position for this year's edition of Madden 16.

In the last 24 hours they announced that Sean Smith will be a top 5 cornerback in this year's game. This makes Sean the fourth Chief to be announced so far alongside Jamaal Charles, Travis Kelce and Justin Houston.

To date 10 positions have been announced and the Chiefs have a top 5 player in 40% of those. That's not bad going if you ask me. This is how they compare to the other teams.

This list does not include rookies as they aren't a top 5 of anything just yet. I know it says there are some players that have tied with the 5th player but I have counted the one with pictures only. EA sports chose these guys to have pictures for a reason, I just don't know what it is.

A big fat zero (0)

Oakland, Cleveland, Washington, Jacksonville, Chicago and Tennessee.

Aw bless, just the one (1)

Atlanta, St Louis, Arizona, Houston, New Orleans, New York Giants, San Diego, Cincinnati, San Francisco and Tampa Bay.

Getting better (2)

Philadelphia, Dallas, Carolina, Indianapolis, Detroit, Denver, Minnesota, Miami and Buffalo.

Worth playing as them (3)

Baltimore, Pittsburgh and Green Bay

If you want to dominate your opponents with greatness or cheating(4)

Kansas City and New England.

Meh (7)

Seattle

That's right, second! As it stands the Chiefs have the second most amount of players in the top 5, only Seattle have more. But our fans are louder than theirs so that makes up the difference.
