Not long now until EA Sports release the latest edition of Madden. It will surely provide us all with out football fix for the couple of weeks before the real thing starts on September the 13th.
The good folks at EA sports have given us all a sneak preview by slowly revealing the top five players for each position. So far three Chiefs have landed in their position top 5s. Will there be anymore? Only time will tell.
Let's take a look at the Chiefs that have been named so far.
JUSTIN HOUSTON (97 OVR) KANSAS CITY CHIEFS LOLB 6’3, 258 POUNDS
Houston signed the biggest contract for a linebacker in NFL history after posting 22 sacks in 2014. He earns it in Madden NFL 16 with 97 Pursuit, 92 Tackle, 88 Play Recognition, and 93 BKS/98 PWM/89 FNM.
Justin comes in as the second ranked OLB behind Von Miller. Yes I know what you are thinking. What a load of rubbish, 2 years ago I would agree with the boffins at EA sports but certainly not in 2015. I don't mind giving Justin another excuse to prove people wrong . . . Again.

JAMAAL CHARLES (94 OVR) KANSAS CITY CHIEFS 5’11, 199 POUNDS
Charles has everything you want in an all-purpose back, including 95 ELUS/92 SPD/92 ACC/98 AGI. You want moves? He has 97 Juke Move and 94 Spin Move. Don’t forget the league-best 86 CTH.
Charles has been named the third overall back in this years edition behind Adrian Peterson and Marshawn Lynch. As for his speeed rating. If he is a 92 then 99 must be Usain Bolt.

TRAVIS KELCE (91 OVR) KANSAS CITY CHIEFS 6’5, 260 POUNDS
After missing his entire rookie season due to injury, Kelce shined in his on-field debut in 2014. He brings 89 Catching, 89 Jumping, 88 Spectacular Catch, 87 Catch in Traffic, 88 Release, and 81 Route Running. He also features 85 Run Block, tops among tight ends.
The rise of Travis Kelce has been a rapid one. He ranked seconds amongst Tight Ends in YAC last season only falling behind Gronk. His big play ability has rightly placed amongst the best in the game at his position. Well done Travis!

So who else is going to make the top 5 in their positiong. We fully expect Justin Houston to be a top 2 OLB. Maybe Sean Smith might make the top 5 CB. Only time will tell. As Madden reveal more we will update the list.
GO CHIEFS!
