Houston signs a new deal

Justin Houston will be a Kansas City Chief for a very long time. He has signed a new 6 year deal worth $101M with $52.5m guranteed. This make him the 2nd highest paid defender in the NFL.

With only hours remaining the Chiefs finally got their guy to sign the multi year deal. It was looking likely that a deal wouldn't be done. What this has taught us is that in the NFL, no news is good news.

Just earlier today in an interview Cairo Santos had this to say about #50 .

He is a huge player. He is a really vocal guy that brings the team up a level when we are losing. Hugely important. I am very confident something will get done and we take this opportunity to make him happy so he carry on performing and winning games for us.

How happy are you about the news? I for one am estatic, the man has played for a minimul amount for too long and fully deserves his big pay day.

Sack City is back! Or shall I say $ack City
