Maclin is in but what now for Bowe?

For those of you that have been living in a cave for the last 72 hours the deal is finally done. On behalf of the British part of the Chiefs Kingdom I would like to say welcome to the Chiefs Jeremy Maclin.
Andy Reid has finally got his guy. After failing to land his man last year Dorsey and Reid was never going to miss out this time round. But it has come at a cost. Maclin is now one of the top 5 highest paid receivers, earning a pretty packet of $55 million over 5 year with $22.5 million of that guaranteed.

But will he be worth it? I am going to put my neck on the line and say yes. Last year he caught 10 touchdowns from Nick Foles and Mark Sanchez. A number I think he can easily repeat with Alex Smith. Of course this is dependent on the offensive line, a need that I am certain will be addressed with our first round pick.
Imagine if we had 5 touchdowns from our receivers last year. I would put my mortgage on that would have led to 2 extra wins and a playoff appearance.
What now for Dwayne Bowe I hear you ask? Well it is no secret that the Chiefs are expected to cut ties with #82 sooner rather than later. But imagine if he takes a pay cut. All of a sudden the Chiefs are loaded at receiver. For me Dwayne Bowe has never been or never will be a true number 1 but top number 2 that needs that guy with him so Dwayne can show off his talents.
In Maclin the Chiefs have their number 1 but don't leave him on an island like they did Bowe.
