Wembley Weekend

Can you believe that it has been over 3 months since the NFL announced that the Chiefs will be coming over to London in 2015. How time flies. As of today the game is 257 days away. As you can tell I am clearly not wishing my life away . . . not! As soon as the game was announced planning immediately began to make the whole weekend as special as possible for Chiefs fans from both side of the pond.
The weekend will kick off with a bus tour exclusively for Chiefs fans. Our guests will be shown around all of London's famous landmarks on an open top bus. If Londoners hadn't heard of the Tomahawk Chop, they will do by the end of the day. You can buy your tickets here.

During the day on Saturday we will be hosting a flag football game at Regents Park. Players of all age and ability are encouraged to join in.
You may or may not have known that the Saturday is Halloween so Arrowheads Abroad and Latino Heat events have come together to put on a Kansas City Chiefs fancy dress Halloween party. There will be live entertainment, games, special guests and more. A hot meal is included in the price. Tickets start from £20. Families are welcome. The party will take place at the Pipeline bar. The Pipeline is situated in Central London and just a few minutes walk from multiple London tube stations. Buy your tickets here.

Then we come to Sunday! The main event. The day we have long waited for! GAMEDAY! I'm going to throw it out there straight away for you KC folk. Tailgating as you know it doesn't happen around Wembley. There is a 'tailgate party' that the NFL put on outside the Stadium. This is normally quite good fun but it is a million miles away from a proper tailgate and a million miles away from the traditional soccer experience.
Although we have yet to decide on our gameday meeting pub. I can promise you there will be beer, there will be KC BBQ and there will be plenty of Chiefs fans. If you hadn't already be sure to register with Arrowheads Abroad to receive updates on all things Wembley.
